Mission

Their Mission

Ohio is now home to Safe Harbor, a faith-based, long-term, residential, therapeutic community for girls, ages 14 through 18, who are survivors of sex trafficking and sexual exploitation.

Safe Harbor, a licensed QRTP, provides trauma-informed, holistic care for the girls on site. These services include on-site medical and physical care provided by local partners, and staff therapists. For their education, we have partnered with an accredited school where girls can earn their high school diploma, not a GED. With a staff pastor and the help of local churches, we will nurture the girls’ spirituality to find their own faith.

Reconnecting with the community and where appropriate, family and relatives are also part of our residents’ Circle of Care, with mentoring and group day treatment.

We’ll also be teaching social and relational skills like healthy conflict resolution and self-regulation, plus independent living, and job skills training.

Check out their Amazon Storefront. When you purchase an item from their Amazon list - you help them as they help survivors. Anything from board games to small appliances.
