Merrill RGSEU red brass ground source union elbow is manufactured from high-quality red brass for use in the geothermal heat pump industry. It provides a 90 degree elbow connection with a union from male iron pipe (MIP) to insert barb with a 1/4" tapping for P/T ports (Pete's Plugs), monitoring gauges, or sensors. The integrated union allows for full rotation of the elbow to desired position and includes an o-ring for a reliable, lead-proof seal. This fitting is commonly used in conjunction with a hose kit assembly for heat pump connections with no swivel fittings. This products contains lead and is not suitable for drinking water applications.
