Merrill gray thread seal tape is designed specifically for use with stainless steel threaded fittings and is ideal for use with harder no-lead brass and bronze threaded fittings. The 1/2" wide teflon tape is infused with nickel powder to produce a low-fiction surface that is more resistant to corrosion in harsh environments and prevents thread galling.
